A note regarding length:
Sometimes curly cords are referred to by the total length of cable in the cord.
But in practice you can’t pull the cords out until they are straight. That would effectively destroy the curly cord. 😊
With these cords in particular, we say they extend out to approx ½ the total length of cable in the cord.
These cords have a very strong spring force.
